The M6 Gallery in Letná opens to the public every Wednesday and the second Saturday of the month with the opportunity to come and try painting a picture. I am also now offering painting courses, which have the advantage that participants can go more in depth and work on a more complex work. There will also be a space to stretch your canvas, which opens up other possibilities for how to process the picture. Personally, I like to work with a drawing on canvas with a transparent canvas or I simply leave the canvas as it is and draw on it, or I paint with ingots, there is then room for multi-layered painting. However, you can choose the more traditional path of painting from a template and gradually improve in the basic techniques of acrylic painting. You can also be inspired by the paintings that are exhibited in the gallery. The advantage is that you will be able to try different types of media and get acquainted with techniques that you have not yet known, and find out what suits you and what direction you want to take in your work. The course is suitable for anyone who wants to improve the technique they already know, but also for those who want to learn something new. The course starts on Tuesday, January 7th and consists of 5 lessons in total. Each participant has the opportunity to use the course replacement 2 times in an extended period, or on Saturday.
