Alex Donát is a Czech trans and queer painter. He's spent the last year working on a series of nude self portraits in an attempt to reconcile with his self-hate. In his work he deals with themes of activism, mental health and identity. He went to the Václav Hollar Secondary School of Arts and now studies painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.
