Cecilia Chiavistelli was born in Poggibonsi, Siena, Italy. She began with the painter Otello Chiti of Siena and continued with the painter and engraver Leopoldo Ferruzzi. She first exhibited in 1977, when she participated in the first exhibition of “Artists in Valdelsa”, Poggibonsi, Siena. Since then she has continued her artistic activity with solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Since 1993 she has taken part in various symposiums in Germany, Portugal, Italy and Czech Republic. Artist residency at Villa Romana in Florence. She regularly participated in group exhibitions organized by the Association of Artists of Southern Bohemia. Collaterally she works as a graphic designer with her own studio alternating the activity with periods of internships and training courses. Since 2007 she has been a publicist journalist. Since 2023 she has been the founder together with other artists of various nationalities of the group Volarismus.
