OPEN CAL 2025 at M6 Gallery

M6 Gallery is delighted to announce the second edition of our open call for artists of all generations!

​

After a successful first edition, which featured 37 artists from five countries in the final exhibition, we have decided to repeat this model. You can view photos from the previous edition here.

 

You can apply not only with paintings and drawings but also with graphics and prints.

Some participants from the previous edition continued to be represented by M6 Gallery at the ART PRAGUE FAIR. A strong motivation to participate in the group exhibition SALON II is the selection of one artist by a professional jury, led by gallerist Kateřina Slunečková, for an individual project in M6 Gallery—a solo exhibition, scheduled for November 2025.

 

Additionally, six selected artists will have the opportunity to collaborate with Print 44 to prepare a print for the exhibition.

APPLICATION PROCESS

​

After paying the entry fee, you will promptly receive additional practical information and confirmation of your registration.

• Entry fee: €6

• If selected, this fee will be deducted from the total participation fee (see "Exhibition Conditions" section). These fees help cover the costs of the exhibition project, including:

  • Rental of M6 Gallery’s commercial space, which also functions as an "Artist to Artist" venue for independent projects

  • Installation materials

  • Graphic design work

  • Refreshments for the opening event

  • Exhibition photography

  • Vernissage expenses

  • Printed materials

APPLICATION DEADLINE

​

All submissions, including the entry fee, must be received by 23:59 on March 30, 2025.

 

SELECTION PROCESS

​

• Pre-selection: The first round of selection will be completed by April 6, 2025, by a jury led by artist and gallerist Kateřina Slunečková and curator Sarah Adnanová.​

FINAL SELECTION

 

​​​

• Artwork delivery to the gallery: April 10–12, 2025

• Collection of unselected works: April 13–14, 2025​

• Final decision on participation will be announced by April 17, 2025

​

EXHIBITION

​

• Opening night: June 5, 2025

• Exhibition duration: June 5 – July 17, 2025

​

EXHIBITION CONDITIONS

​

• Artists may submit an unlimited number of paintings, graphics, or prints.

• Selected works will be limited to 1–2 pieces per artist within the following size formats:

  • Small format: max. 30 × 40 cm

  • Large format: max. 270 × 200 cm

  • Sculptural works will be considered on an individual basis.

• Participation fee:

  • €36 for 2 small works or 1 large work

  • €26 for 1 small work

  • Fees are calculated after deducting the entry fee.

The gallery retains 26% of sales revenue to cover the work of the entire exhibition team.
